Next year, SAS Scandinavian Airlines will launch flights from Cracow to Stockholm. Passengers flying from Cracow Airport will land at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, located 42 km from the capital of Sweden. The decision to establishing this route is not surprising since the data shows that Scandinavia is an attractive destination for passengers. Last year 119.000 people flew to Sweden.

The flight will be launched on March 26 and will take place twice a week. Boeing 737 will operate on this route on Thursdays and Sundays. The distance between  the Swedish airport and the city can be covered by Arlanda Express train in about 20 minutes. Cracow – Copenhagen, which is also supported by SAS, has been maintained for the winter season.

“We look forward to the new connection to Stockholm, this time offered by a traditional carrier, SAS Scandinavian Airlines. This is a confirmation of the popularity of flights to Scandinavia.”– said Radosław Włoszek, President of the Cracow Airport.

In addition to the new flight, which from next year will be operated by SAS, you can also travel from Cracow to Stockholm with two low-cost carriers: Norwegian and Ryanair, which land in Arlanda and Skavsta airports.

This is the seventh new route announced by the carriers for the 2017 summer season from Cracow airport. Next year, from the Balice airport you can reach the airports of Venice-Treviso, Pescara, Porto, Chania, Lourdes (Ryanair) and Dusseldorf (Eurowings).
