A Ryanair aircraft nearly collided with Israeli F-16 fighters – said on its website the “Jerusalem Post”. The aircraft was flying from the southern Israeli port and resort town on the Red Sea, near Jordan, Eilat to Cracow.

The newspaper refers to information from TV “Channel 2”. The incident happened above the central region of the country. Ryanair plane, flying from Eilat to Krakow nearly collided with two fighters of Israeli Air Force. At that time, the RyanAir’s aircraft was flying at an altitude of over 8000 meters.

The collision was avoided thanks to the rapid response of jets’ pilots.

According to the “Jerusalem Post”, fighters held training flights and now an investigation started at the Israeli Air Force and the Ministry of Transport.
